Chassis stiffness is an often an overlooked aspect of performance that can be easily improved with a simple bolt-on brace. However, not all braces and bars are created equal.

We run our 10th Generation Civics on the street and track all the time. It's obvious to us that the cars could benefit from increased chassis stiffness. We knew we had to find a way to REDEFINE the Front Strut Tower Brace (FSTB) for this awesome community.

Available in addition to the FSTB as an upgrade or for purchase later is our billet aluminum master cylinder brake brace. The 27WON brake brace is designed to bolt on directly to your performance strut tower bar and press against the brakes master cylinder. The purpose of this is to reduce the flex of your master cylinder on the firewall.

By adding the brake brace you will reduce the movement of your brake master cylinder which will result in a more solid pedal feel and more consistent feedback when on track or under hard braking. This upgrade is a must-have for anyone looking to push the car's on-track performance.

Available in two versions, we have a Brake Brace for your particular Honda Civic.

  • Select (sedan & coupes-only) to get the correct brace to attach to your 2016+ Honda Civic, SI and other 1.5T 4-door and 2-door models. will not fit NA 2.0L models
  • Select (hatchback-only) to get the brace for your Civic Type R and all 5-door hatchback models 2016+.

There are two common design approaches for strut tower braces in the industry today: Bolted End-plates and Fixed End-plates.

Bolted end-plate designs allow for the use of different materials for the cross bar and the end-plates and are much easier to design and manufacture. However, the design has a weak point. The bolted connection between the cross bar and end-plates compromises rigidity. In single bolt connections the rigidity (buckling strength) of the brace is compromised by a factor of 4!

Fixed end-plate designs feature single material construction. This results in a more complex manufacturing method but the result is a design that is 4 times stronger than a similar bolted end-plate design.

Utilizing a one-piece design with a goal for superior strength and slim profile, steel construction was the ideal choice. Thick-walled dual tubes are welded to the tower plates utilizing center cylinder construction to provide a robust chassis brace.

All of our bars are finished off in powder-coat for durability and a sleek look.

You know if its a 27WON upgrade then we need to offer it up in some 27WON style. You can acquire this bar in either a Wrinkle Black powdercoat or in our Signature Orange powdercoat. Which ever option you choose you will be adding some bonus style points under the hood.

Installing Your Performance Front Strut Tower Bar

The bar & master cylinder brace performance is great. I had no idea my 2017 Si was flexing so much. Took about 3 days to get use to the sharp/fast response of the new steering (especially if making a U turn).

Took about 5-6 days to get use to the the brake master cylinder brace. It takes much less foot pressure to bring car to a stop. My brother drove my car and thought I had upgraded the brakes in some way.

I deducted 1 star because the master cylinder brace mount had to be bent to align with the master cylinder. Out of the box, the brace only touched 1/8 inch of the right (passenger) side of master cylinder. Bending the mount in very small amount then refitting to car until I found the sweet spot was well worth the extra time.

Very good directions and a must read for the heater hose repositioning that must be done on the SI (requires no tools just your hands). And I aligned the small black box on the negative battery cable with the strut bar below it and everything cleared with a OEM look. I would definitely do the install again even if it took twice as long to complete. The brace and master cylinder brace are amazing.
I appreciate that it is one piece, as well as the clean look. I also purchased that brake brace at the same time. It installs as it should and made the car feel tighter for sure. Everything I've purchased from these guys in top shelf! Will a sway bar be coming...?
By far the easiest FSTB I have ever installed. I love the one-piece construction, and appreciate the inclusion of the longer negative terminal cable to make fitment even better.
Just got this bar on signature orange and looks so dope in my car , easy to install the fitment was perfect, and definitely my car feels way better !!!
Seriously the best strut tower brace you can get. I've been modifying my Civics since my first one, in 1989. This is no ebay wanna-be add-on. They have really created a brace that works.

27WON makes some of the best aftermarket parts I've ever seen. The fit and finish are excellent and the installation is usually like replacing OEM parts. You can tell they really think about the customer when they engineer their parts.

Bought for my CTR in black. Immediately out of the box you’ll be impressed with the piece. It looks and feels high quality. It’s dead simple to install. Behind the wheel the difference is subtle but you’ll notice added stability at speed. In my case, I have no added bracing and am otherwise bone stock (save for Phearable Stage 2 tune).

I am new to Honda and am coming from German cars. I knew nothing about 27won or the Honda tuning community —-but caught them mentioned numerously in forums. I was impressed by the videos, their outstanding install features, and their sensibilities around modifications requiring OEM-like fitment while being of much higher quality (and measurably worth doing). I opted for this simple piece to try them out and will definitely be going with them for exhaust quite soon.

The Honda community is lucky to have these guys out there laboring in their defense! :)
Bought with the Master Cylinder Brace, all I got to say is AMAZING! Perfect fit, great craftsmanship, the finish the awesome (bought it in black), even holding it feels really good. Quality is definitely there, no doubt!

If you're in the market for a Strut Bar, this is it. Buy it with the Brake Brace, especially if you plan on tracking! This is a 2 in 1 function and you can't beat the price for 1) Quality, 2) Functionality, 3) Easy Install. And it looks good under the hood! 10 out of 10 highly recommend
Cant say enough good about this strut bar. Instantly tightens up the front end and makes handling much nicer. Coming from a 3 piece bar, this is night and day. Install was super easy, about 20 mins, counting time to get tools out! 27 Won is doing something special with their products...cant wait to see whats next.
Excellent fitment and finish. Couldn't ask for a higher quality component! Looks factory (which I like) and the brake master cylinder brace is a bonus!
Loving this FSTB W/Brake Brace didn’t know how much I needed it until I put it on and felt the difference immediately. Better steering control and feel in the front end. It literally is life saving. Case in point, after I installed the FSTB W/Brake Brace I was cruising into town about 55mph, got distracted, the light changed red my wife yelled stop stop stop. I slammed on the brakes as hard as I could and stopped my Si just before the middle of the 4 way intersection and backed up like nothing happened. I was amazed at how that Brake Brace held firm as if I had my foot pushing on a brick wall. Normally your foot would go to the floor as hard as I slammed the brakes. You and your Team really “hit the ball out of the park” on this one. Two thumbs up.
