Bring in the 27WON Short Ram Intake System (SRI). What we’ve done is crafted a combination of parts consisting of upgraded intake tubing, an all-new MAF housing, and most importantly a massive high performance dry-flow filter to enhance both the performance and looks of the K20 engine underneath your hood. Plus, this thing sounds so sweet.

Let’s dive into the MAF or Mass Airflow housing. This small but crucial part is responsible for housing the MAF sensor which is in charge of measuring the volume of air going into the engine. This volume calculation is fed into the ECU and is used to adjust up or down the amount of fuel the injectors provide. We utilized a “Street” sized housing here that is identical in size to the OEM unit to retain OEM like fuel trims. OEM fuel trims mean no CEL, no lights and 100% drop-in functionality for the life of the vehicle.

What’s the big deal with dry-flow filters? Well, the one we use here is really the gold standard in the industry. You may see other companies using lame oiled filters. Those are difficult to clean and require re-applying oil. What a mess. Plus, give it just a tad too much and you encounter issues from this type of filter. So, we do away with that a provide a nice big dry-flow filter that is both efficient at filtering out particles and also has more flow potential than the paper OEM filter your Sport or LX Civic comes with from factory.

4-ply Silicone is used here for a combination of strength and flexibility. Gone is the generic OEM tubing and instead, we have nice smooth stepped Silicone couplers that seamlessly join to the throttle body and carry over all of the fittings for the EVAP system ensuring trouble free operation.
