The 27WON Strut Tower Brace for the AccordX takes the best qualities from our popular 10th and 11th generation Civic strut bars and brings them to the Accord. A twin-tube design, welded end-plates, and one-piece construction are what make this FSTB the best bar you can put on your Honda Accord 10th generation bar none.
Read on below for all the details on why this is the only bar you want to consider for under your hood.
Creating a 10th generation Honda Accord Front Strut Tower Bar was honestly somewhat easy because we were already starting with the best performing design on the market.
We took our 10th generation Honda Civic FSTB, made it a a bit longer to adjust for the wider wheelbase, optimized its angles, and BOOM. The strongest one-piece FSTB to help improve chassis rigidity for the CV2 is now yours.
Less then 5 minutes is all it takes to bolt-on some chassis improvements for your CV1 and CV2 Honda Accord. This is literally the easiest modification to increase the handling on your 10th gen.

A gusset is a steel plate that is used to affix two or more independent members of a structure to each other to aid in alignment and strength. In the case of our high-performance FSTB, we use such a gusset plate to make sure that the twin tubes of the bar find perfect alignment when being welded on to the end-plate and to help withstand forces that put load onto the strut bar itself.
When your Accord is diving into a corner and the bar is forced to work, it's important the bar does not buckle, flex or deform. A bar that flexes under load is weak and serves no purpose on your car. By using CAD design and simulations, we add strength in key areas just like in the example of this gusset plate so that your bar performs.
Fixed endplate versus bolt-on endplate design and why you should consider this when making a purchase.
Fixed end-plate designs utilize a single material for the crossbar and endplates that are welded to each other. In the case of the 27WON bar, we use high-grade steel for the entire construction of the brace. This requires the use of more precise jigs and manufacturing methods, but the result is a design that is 4 times stronger than a bolted endplate design.
Bolted end-plate designs are much more common and cheaper to manufacture than fixed endplates. They allow different materials to be used for the main cross-section bar and end pieces. You may find an aluminum tube centerpiece and steel end-plates for example that are bolted up with low-grade hardware. While this is a great way for the manufacturer to control costs, bolted connections are a weak point. In this application, the (buckling strength) of the brace can be reduced by 4 times over that of a one-piece unit.
Dual steel tubes are used across the engine bay to tie the ends of the bar together and then welded on 4 pick up points. The dual bars are then also stitch welded underneath to keep everything in place and to minimize flex. This slim, but strong profile and design allows you to retain your OEM engine cover and leaves plenty of room for things like flex fuel kits and oil catch cans.
Leaving the end-plates open allows easy access to the top of the strut hats. This is essential for those running aftermarket airbag or coil-over suspension with any type of adjustment on top.
Make it yours with a choice of 2 awesome colors. You can get this bar in either a Wrinkle Black or in our Signature Orange powdercoat. Whichever flavor your pick, you'll be adding plenty of style under your hood.
