On an OEM Turbocharger setup the gains from the install of the 27WON Turbo Inlet Pipe (TIP) are small. This is because the factory equipped turbo is so tiny and undersized, it's the bigger flow restriction. Testing across multiple SI trim Civic's showed us an average net gain of 2.2hp and 3.4wtq. These numbers are slightly higher on Base trim models that come from the factory with a much smaller plastic turbo inlet pipe.

It was not until we equipped our CivicX with a W1 turbo drop-in upgrade that the TIP really started to shine in the performance category. The addition of our TIP (aka cross-over pipe) to the larger aftermarket turbo kit netted us over 17 g/s of flow which is huge for such a simple bolt-on part. With the addition of the TIP, we saw horsepower gains of around 9hp.
***Note*** While a tune is not required we recommend one for optimal performance.

The 27WON Turbo Inlet Pipe increases the inside diameter to 76mm, a 42% increase in cross-sectional area. This drastically improves the efficiency of the intake system resulting in improved airflow through the turbocharger and releasing more power potential for your 1.5L engine.

Due to the extremely complex nature of this part, our requirement to retain the OEM BPV, and our goal for a single-piece design the team here utilized cast aluminum construction for the turbo inlet pipe. This provides a lightweight and simple part for you while allowing for the design flexibility to hit our objectives. *prototype pipe shown

All pieces are manufactured from A356-T6 aluminum and post machined to a precision fit for both OEM, W1 and W2 style drop-in turbo upgrades.

***Note*** All design and testing was completed with an OEM bypass valve (BPV). We cannot guarantee the fitment of our TIP with any aftermarket BPV. Further, we do not recommend one for drive-ability and performance reasons.

We pushed the limits with our design and this required that we make changes to both the sealing surface to the compressor and the valve cover breather hose. Good news though, we’ve designed and included all the necessary components for a complete and seamless install.

Mounting studs, gasket, silicone valve cover breather hose, mounting bracket, silicone, and a new wiring harness shrink wrap are all included with the turbo inlet pipe.

power potential subheadline 27WON-turbo-upgrade-with-turbo-inlet-pipe

Our upgraded turbo inlet pipe pairs excellently with our W1 upgraded turbocharger kit. With optimized tuning we saw gains north of 13whp and 14wtq. This testing was performed on a 2018 Honda Civic SI with standard bolt on modifications on pump gas.

With increased flow and less restriction an upgraded T.I.P can help feed the turbo with fresh air and even give a louder induction noise for those looking to make a statement with this upgrade.

This turbo inlet is made incredibly well as a cast aluminum one piece design. The box came with everything needed for a seamless install. Best part is it looks amazing in the engine bay and the increase in turbo spool and power is worth it alone. 27won knocked it out of the park with this one.
The CAI and turbo inlet was a super easy install with great instructions. Great product for our 2019 Sport Hatch!
Now I know that my turbo will breathe better partnering it with my PRL cobra CAI with race MAF. Install was straight forward but there were still some flaws to the instructions they provided. Nevertheless, this was a great upgrade and the best part was it was delivered immediately when I purchased it during the week of Thanksgiving 2023.
First of all I love the inlet pipe like all the other products pricey but great quality and its worth it. That being said I snagged it right before the 20% off sale ended, cant beat that!!!

Second of all i dont know if anyone has brought this up to you guys but ive heard from others and this was the case with my 2019 sport hatchback that it came with the stud on the turbo housing in the spot of the M8x80mm flange bolt, no big deal but if it can save someone else the a** ache of pulling the RIP back and worth more than once than ill mention it. Also in my opinion due to my massive hands I believe that step 39 really should be done at the same time as step 24 unless there is a reason but it was kind of a pain to squeeze a 12mm bolt and tighten it in the little crammed space behind the TIP.

All is well thank you for REDEFINING the aftermarket!
Shout out to 27won for another awesome product for performance ????. This inlet pipe is a must install! If you don’t already have the W1 or W2 turbo. I would suggest doing both of these installations at the same time. Will save you unnecessary heartache of taking off OEM inlet pipe. Lol. Vincent I’m an another 100% satisfied customer. I hope your business continues to redefine and prosper.

Running E85. Will be purchasing Race MAF soon.
This talk of a bov causing oil dilution is crap get your car tuned and get your fuel oil ratio dialed in on a dyno , I have no problems with my hks bov ,A bov is to help save your turbo a bov does not break your car ,you might run rich for 2 seconds when you shift gears ,you just may have oil dilution, because you don't let the car warm up before you drive or when you run the car hard . if you run the car hard let it idle for 5mins before you cut the car off you might warp your turbo or scorch the engine, but a bov won't break your car or cause oil dilution, just letting you know
Honda's OEM turbo inlet pipe is truly a pancake (sad face). 27Won's TIP is the real deal and it works wonderfully with their cold air intake. You'll realize the pancake you had from the Honda factory is just terrible after installing 27Won's TIP.
The Inlet pipe for my 2017 crv was amazing and I felt an improvement in the strength of my crv. I am very satisfied with the purchase and I recommend it.
This 27Won Turbo Inlet Pipe just oozes with quality. It is seriously top notch from opening the box, following the exquisitely detailed instructions, admiring the beautiful finished product once it's installed, and enjoying the fruits of your labor while driving your car.

It looks exponentially better under the hood than the OEM pancake...like it was really meant to be there from the factory.

Installation instructions, as usual from 27Won, are exquisite. Installation is totally possible flying solo, but I'd highly suggest a wingman for the extra set of fingers to reduce stress, time and the possibility of dropped fasteners/bolts. My only complaint for installation is the stainless bolts that hold the BPV in place. Due to the voodoo magic (or 2nd set of hands) that is required to install those bolts, it would be extremely helpful if they were magnetic.

I have a 2020 Si Coupe. Other mods are Ktuner w/ Phearable 1.5R flash tune, PRL Cobra CAI w/ Race MAF and the beautiful 27Won FMIC.

Although 27Won shows via dyno testing there is little gain in terms of raw HP/TQ with the stock turbo, the car does feels more responsive after installation. I guess we could say that it is 110% butt-dyno approved, and the additional turbo noises acquired deserve two big thumbs way, way up.

I have experienced no severe impact to fuel efficiency assuming you can keep your foot off the long skinny pedal. This could prove a challenge though with how tremendous this makes even the tiny stock turbo sound.

If you're running some sort of BOV, rather than the stock BPV, then know that there could be fitment/clearance issues with upgraded/larger intercooler piping. I had the TurboXS 'hybrid BOV' and it was a bit of a struggle getting everything to fit since this BOV is much larger than the factory BPV.

I say 'had' the TurboXS BOV since I have returned to the OEM BPV. First, due to clearance issues. Secondly, due to fuel dilution of oil rearing its ugly head with the addition of the TIP. I send my oil out for analysis to BlackStoneLaboratories at each change to monitor and make sure there aren't any issues. After the TIP was installed the oil analysis came back at 2.3% dilution with only 3,500 miles on the oil. This was particularly concerning to me since I drive fairly conservatively on the expressway with cruise control on a ~70 mile daily commute; I average 36-40 MPG per tank. Considering how light I am on the throttle, I knew the OEM BPV had to go back in to rectify the rich conditions that were being caused by already metered air not making its way to the combustion process. My best guess, I am no mechanical engineer/scientist/whatever, is that the additional volume/flow of the TIP is enough to increase the fuel being called for by the computer, and that in turn is causing the oil dilution.

Let me be perfectly clear here, this is not a knock on the absolutely amazing product that 27Won has produced. It's phenomenal...You should buy one.

I'm just sharing my experience/information about my combination of common mods and how they eventually lead to one of the drawbacks that is mentioned, by numerous popular A/M part providers, when using a BOV; oil dilution.

Keep up the great work 27Won!
