The TSP L15 1.5T Head Stud Kit provides higher-performance builds with a purpose-built ARP2000 fastening solution designed to maintain consistent clamping force between the cylinder head, head gasket, and block.

TSP's 1.5T Head Stud Kit is custom manufactured by ARP and is a TSP exclusive product. The head studs are made from ARP2000 material (details below). Also included in the kit is a set of ARP nuts, custom catpaw washers, a packet of ARP's proprietary assembly lubricant, and our assembly guide.

ARP2000 is an alloy steel that can be safely heat treated to a higher level, producing a greater strength material than 8740. While 8740 and ARP2000 share similar characteristics – ARP2000 is capable of achieving a clamp load at 220,000 psi. ARP2000 is used widely in short track and drag racing as an up-grade from 8740 chrome moly in both steel and aluminum rods. Our studs have been put to the test by thousands of customers and have no reported failures.
